We learned what we knew about the British from the PBS and Acorn TV
shows/series. And actually meeting them was a genuine pleasure. Everyone
went out of their way to help us if they thought we needed it. One
couple even invited us into their home when we couldn't find a place
for the night. The history and culture we experienced was far greater
than we expected. We are now true Anglophiles.
If you have not traveled in UK and experienced the small villages of the Cotswalds and Cornwall, we urge you try your best to do so. Driving is challenging at first, but you quickly get the hang of it. Round-abouts on the other hand...
We cannot show here all the hundreds of pictures we took during our 18 day journey, but we tried to give you a sense of just some of the great things we saw.
The links below take you to a location or activity group of pics. Each picture in the group has a caption.

After Wallingford, we headed back to Old Windsor for our last night. The next morning we turned in the Hertz car at Heathrow and caught our flight home.
